School is almost done. We are sooo close, I can almost taste it. But it seems like the closer we get, the more we have to do! Right now we have a community volleyball team (so awesome), tons of school projects, work, family, and more photo shoots! But I am having a blast. It's been so great.
Here are some of the CD cases I just made for a few of my sessions. :)
I feel like we need to take videos more. Pictures can only do so much. Videos capture personality. I just watched a friend's video of her getting an ultrasound and it was so neat. They dedicated it to their future child and it is so much more than just a picture. You can see their excitement and love. It makes me want to document our lives better. Do you have any suggestions on the best way to do this? Should we get a video camera or do it off our ipods?
Ps. I start Insanity on Monday. I am kinda nervous. But this weekend I have been tracking my calories on livestrong.com and it's helped me get a feel for what I am eating and what my body needs. I definitely need to cut back a lot! As of now, I have 298 calories left to spend for the day. That's about two bites of ice cream...sad day!
I did it. I made the first big step towards going insane. Last night Curt and I made an exchange with this guy we found on Craigslist for INSANITY. The whole thing felt a little sketchy, like a drug deal or something...but worse. We didn't know who this guy was, what he looked like, or anything. All we knew is that he had what we wanted it...for a fairly affordable price. We waited at a nearby gas station when this big tundra pulled up next to our car. He rolled down the window, gave us the package and we gave him the money and that was it. I still feel a little weird about it...but whatever! I have it now and am super excited to start the program.
It is a lot more extensive than I thought it would be. It is not just a work out program, it is a life changing program. It gives your recipes that you should eat, calenders you should follow, and calculations you should apply. It sounds intense. It suggests that you have five meals a day, which range from 300-500 calories a meal. The meals include a lot of chicken, fish, whole wheat, cottage cheese, and protein powder. It will be hard, it will be new, and it will be exciting. I will definitely let you know how it goes. Wish me luck!
