The Incredibles

Because last night Curt was on his regular camping trip for the boy scouts, I hung out with my fam all night. It was great. Carli, Breanna, my mom, and I all heading to Indy for a quick shopping trip and came back and opened more gifts for my moms birthday. While everyone was hanging out in the living room, my dad commented, "This is great, having all of the original Cramers together". This was my favorite quote. Logan said, "Yea, but I miss Curt. Curt turns us from the originals into the incredibles." So true. I love Curt more than anything and he has definitely made our family incredible.

Love is in the air this summer.

Weddings are great. People seem to be glowing and I love it. Curt and I drove 4.5 hours to Lansing, MI for one of my besties' wedding reception. We had to leave after Curt was done working, so we got on the road around 1 o'clock.  It was definitely a long day for him and he pretty much passed out in the car when we got on the highway. We made it for the last five minutes of their receiving line and just in time for dinner! These are a few pictures we took:
Kathryn Richardson and I

My ladies: Emily Blotter, Lindsay Blotter, and Me.

In the background: a famous Detroit Redwings player.
It worked out that I decided to wear purple there! Seriously, I didn't even realize that that was her bridal colors. It was a lot of fun and she had a dance party waiting for us.

I started working working on this painting for her and her hubby about two months ago. Not the best, but I tried. I usually never finish my paintings, so I was pretty proud that I did this time.

Too much to handle.

Sometimse I feel weird saying this, maybe it's because of the name or the broad fan base, but I love Harry Potter. I love the action, I love the characters (mostly Ron), I love the community surrounded by this world. Kudos to J.K Rolling and her ability to create something this big for some many people! Curt, Carli, and I endured the noisy people, boring trivia games that continue to repeat, and the decent movie trailors (The Rise of the Dark Knight looks very good).  And then it started! Ahhhh. My tiredness vanished, and so did my nails. I know whats going to happen, but I get so nervous still! Anyways, the movie was wonderful. They included great shots, colors, lines, action, and humor. I was very pleased with the outcome and now I want to re-read all of the books (which will always be better than the movies).

And then on Friday, we had our camping trip with JC and Trinity. We were so excited for this also. We built the tent, watched Toy Story 3, ate ice cream. told ghost stories, and squeezed in tight inside our two person tent.  It was a lot of fun and we absolutely love hanging out with our little nieces and nephews. We miss them already.

Cubicles.

It's funny working in cubicles.
Sometimes I find myself thinking I am talking to the person in the next cubicle and then find out they aren't even there. That's a little embarrassing, especially when someone has to tell you that you are talking to no one.
And another funny thing, you hear everything going on around you. The man who is the next cubical over is named Kevin. He has two children and him and his wife are going on vacation soon. He is very friendly, on the phone at least and always hums to himself. But I have never actually seen him face. I have no idea what he looks like, but I feel like I know him personally. Weird.
